Only thirteen days remain to submit for the FieldReport $250,000 Grand Prize!

On January 5th, 2009 a single true-life story of 2,000 words or less will be named the winner of the FieldReport $250,000 Grand Prize. As far as we can tell, this is the world’s largest prize for a single piece of writing. There is no entry fee, but time is running out because all submissions for the Grand Prize contest must be received by November 15th 2008.

For those of you who don’t know, FieldReport is a dynamic new web community for writers based on true life stories. Users submit their stories and rate the stories of others using a patent pending Community Ranking System that selects essays based on quality rather than popularity.
